Partner (Slovenia), SchoenherrVid Kobe is a partner with Schoenherr Slovenia where he heads the office’s Banking & Finance practice and co-heads the Corporate/M&A department.
For the past years, his projects have mostly consisted of acting for Slovenian and foreign financial institutions in distressed/near-insolvency situations, selling consortia in the context of privatisations and sales of public companies as well as sellers and buyers in NPL deals. He also frequently advises clients from the financial sector on regulatory matters. Vid is an author of numerous contributions on Slovenian Corporate/M&A and Insolvency regimes and has lectured to financial institutions and law students on the principles of financial contracts.
