Véronique Dobelle

Véronique Dobelle, Senior Partner, has worked during more than 23 years in one of the reputed judicial administrators’ offices (Valliot, Le Guernevé, Abitbol), which gave her an extensive expertise in preventive restructuring but also in insolvency cases. She has been involved in international cases, especially in Africa at the Agence Française de Développement. She has proven her ability to deal with highly complex situations (as for the Altifort case).

In 2014, she joined August Debouzy’s restructuring team, and worked on issues relating to insolvency law in various sectors such as upstream or downstream the suspension of payments.

BOCHE DOBELLE law firm is a niche firm dedicated to restructuring. The firm works with French and foreign groups with interests in France, helping them to implement preventive measures as well as dealing with takeover bids and the management of complex contractual relationships.

Véronique Dobelle is well-known for their deep knowledge and experience in I&R law. She assists mid-market firms and large companies, as well as creditors, investors, and insolvency officers. Her main areas of expertise is (i) debt restructuring in the context of preventive out-of-court proceedings, including corporate and social reorganization; (ii) Insolvency proceedings, (iii) Distressed M&A and corporate legal issues relating to shareholder disputes before and after insolvency; (iv) Insolvency-related litigation

She is an active member of the French organization Association pour le Retournement des Entreprises (ARE), being in charge of the Training Commission. She is also a member of the Association Droit et Commerce, the GRIP 21 in association with the World Bank’s work on insolvency law, and the Institut Français des Procédures Collectives (IFPPC) and TMA France.
