Mr. Taskila is an Investor, Advisor, Entrepreneur, Coach and Father as well as an experienced C-level Executive with an unmatched international background in Aviation, Tech and Consultancy. His current roles include acting as a consultant and trusted advisor to many innovative start-ups in the areas of Transportation, Logistics, Defence, Health, Augmented Reality Technology and Urban Mobility.

During his 20+ years of business experience, Mr. Taskila has been entrusted with a variety of CEO/CxO roles by airlines and airports around the world, including in the areas of strategy, commercial development, network management and development and fleet planning and acquisition. He has an excellent track record in devising and executing strategies and programs to improve bottom-line performance and possesses deep expertise across all functions critical to air carriers. Among the air carriers that he has aided are Southwest, Finnair, Qatar Airways and Lufthansa. He has also been an executive advisor to some of the world’s leading international airlines, including China Southern, Qantas, Etihad and Singapore Airlines. Mr. Taskila has in addition advised governments and international authorities such as the WHO and the IMF in Africa, Europe and North America about infrastructure, tourism and transportation strategies and about taxation.

Beyond transport, Mr. Taskila has held senior or advisory roles in a variety of technology-focused companies, including Nokia as well as start-ups in the areas of SaaS, mobility, health, consumer business and logistics.

Mr. Taskila lecturers regularly at London City University, the University of St. Gallen, Dubai Aviation College and the Airbus Business Academy on Innovation Management and Strategic Planning. In addition, he coaches start-up companies on three different continents.
