As a foreign associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell, New York City, Rob broadened his experience with U.S. bankruptcy and cross-border insolvency working on cases like Patriot Coal, Kodak, Lehman, Elpida, and various other (Chapter 11, 15, other) cases. A secondment at ABN AMRO Bank allowed him to deepen his understanding of the client’s perspective.

In his spare time, Rob loves sailing with his wife Margot and kids Aimée, Justus and Juliette, cycling, cooking and playing the guitar. He enjoys good wines, whisky and the occasional cigar.
