Pavel Iliev

Mr. Iliev joined in 2021 to accelerate Chiron’s European expansion. He has 20 years of entrepreneurial, investment banking and wealth management experience, with focus on natural resources in emerging markets, along with more than 50 originated and executed capital markets, M&A and private equity transactions.

Following a 10-year investment banking career in Russia and subsequent relocation to Switzerland, Mr. Iliev founded in 2012 Iliev Capital Partners, a corporate finance advisory boutique, and merged it with former UBS colleagues at New York-headquartered Three Keys Capital Advisors in 2014. Mr. Iliev participated actively in Three Keys’ strategic growth to 15+ people across two continents and multiple countries and maintains an excellent relationship with this firm to date.

In 2018 Mr. Iliev re-joined UBS within its Wealth Management division in Zurich to capitalize on entrepreneurial and investment banking work experience on basis of relationships developed to date, while working closely with colleagues at UBS Investment Bank. He was instrumental in retaining and growing an ultra high net worth client book and played a key role for the launch of a new business related to sell-side investment banking advisory within wealth management in partnership with investment banking boutiques.

Prior to UBS, Mr. Iliev worked at Ernst & Young, ING, Citigroup and UBS Investment Bank in Moscow covering various industries, including metals & mining, retail & consumer, real estate and agriculture. This variety of professional experience allowed Mr. Iliev to establish a robust network of relationships with individual and institutional family office investors, together with top management and ownership in multiple industries across Europe and the former Soviet Union.
