Jane supervises and manages wind downs of all forms of corporate entities, supervises auctions and sales, serves as receiver, special fiscal agent, assignee for the benefit of creditors, escrow agent, trustee and liquidating trustee.
As founder and President of SM Financial Services Corporation, Jane is responsible for cultivating and maintaining referral sources, client relationships, and managing the operations of the firm. Jane maintains the company’s portfolio of notes, mortgages, annuities, accounts receivable and other financial assets.
Jane is an active member of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, where she serves as a Board Member and Vice-Chair of the New Jersey Network, National Association of Federal Equity Receivers, American Bankruptcy Institute, New York Institute of Credit, New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation, as an Advisory Board Member and Turnaround Management Association, where she serves as an Executive Board Member and Global President.
Jane Mitnick is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a B.S. in Speech, 1986.
