Dr. Christian Hilpert
Partner, Eversheds SutherlandChristian Hilpert is a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland and Head of the German Restructuring & Insolvency practice. He provides advice on restructurings and insolvencies with a specific emphasis on complex cross-border proceedings, including the acquisition and the sale of assets of distressed companies.
Christian is dual qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales and as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany and regularly acts for well-known insolvency administrators, funds and international clients from the technology, finance, automotive, aviation, retail and private equity sectors.
Christian studied law at the University of Münster, holds a Ph.D. from Saarland University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA // Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures de Gestion) from the European Institute in Saarbruecken. He is a member of INSOL International, NIVD and the NextGen Leadership Program of the International Insolvency Institute (Class VIII 2019).
