Bogdan Pleșuvescu

Since March 2018, Bogdan Pleșuvescu has served as the chief executive officer at Victoriabank, one of Moldova’s largest banks. Throughout his career, Pleșuvescu has held management and executive positions with various financial and banking institutions and groups, among the most prestigious are ABN Amro, RBS, Banca Transilvania.

He has over 20 years’ experience in management and a wide range of turnaround businesses expertise. Upon graduating from Bucharest’s Faculty of Law in 1998, he attended the University of Bucharest’s Post-University Course, specializing in International Law. He was president of the Legal Commission of the Romanian Bank Association and before coming to the Republic of Moldova, he coordinated as Executive Director – Legal, Collection, Workout, Remediation and Insolvency Department of Transilvania Bank (Romania). The prestigious specialist portal The Legal 500 nominated him in 2017 in the GC Powerlist Central and Eastern Europe, which includes the most influential General Counsel in Central and Eastern Europe.
