You will learn how factoring can be useful in restructuring. You’ll also gain insights into the workings of a factoring line, including the first 90 days, what you need to know about cost and structure, and when to bring factoring in. CTPs and CTAs can earn 1.2 CEUs for attending.

What is Factoring?
Factoring, receivables factoring, or debtor financing involves one company buying a debt or invoice from another company. In these purchases, accounts receivable are discounted to allow the buyer to make a profit upon the settlement of the debt. Essentially, factoring transfers the ownership of the accounts to another party, which then acts to collect the debt.
