This year’s edition will be centred around three perspectives that increasingly determine the success of turnaround processes: restructuring finance, distressed M&A transactions and interim management.

The event will create a platform for discussing how to effectively move from diagnosing a crisis to implementing concrete remedial measures – raising capital, executing transactions, rebuilding stakeholder trust and introducing real operational change. The conference will be practical in nature and will combine various discussion formats, including a keynote speech, expert panels, one-to-one conversations and moderated round tables.

This year’s agenda has been designed to present restructuring and value-building processes from the perspective of different market participants: entrepreneurs, business owners, creditors, investors, financing institutions, advisers, lawyers, supervisory board members and interim managers. Particular emphasis will be placed on the practical decisions, barriers and conditions that determine whether a company in distress has a real chance of stabilisation, financing, a successful transaction or effective transformation.

During the conference, we will discuss, among other topics, when financing institutions are ready to support a company undergoing restructuring, how to build credibility with the market despite a difficult situation, what increases the chances of a successful distressed M&A transaction, and when an organisation needs an external impulse in the form of an interim manager. An important element of the programme will also be a discussion on leadership, communication and decision-making under pressure, as effective turnaround is not only about numbers, procedures and documents, but also about people, trust and the ability to act in conditions of uncertainty.

The conference will be a place for exchanging experience between representatives of the restructuring, financial, investment, legal and management communities. Its aim is not only to discuss the current challenges faced by the market, but also to build a platform for cooperation between individuals and institutions that are practically involved in recovery processes, financing, transactions and crisis management.

TMA Poland invites everyone who wants to better understand the mechanisms of effective restructuring, financing and business transformation, and to help shape a professional turnaround community in Poland and across Europe.
