TMA NOW Summit – Paris

TMA France, TMA Germany and TMA UK collaborate on the first European NOW Summit to present a joint session focusing on “Commercial Real Estate as a Distressed Asset Class and how to navigate this challenging landscape”.

The commercial real estate sector is experiencing significant distress, driven by pandemic-related shifts in consumer behaviour and remote work arrangements leading to decreased demand and increased vacancies in office and retail spaces. Moreover, new ESG constraints and the rising of borrowing costs are making it more challenging for property owners to get financed their projects or to service their debt. As a consequence, defaults and foreclosures increased, particularly in the retail and office sectors.

The panel, composed by experienced professionals, will be discussing this complex and evolving issue in France, the UK and Germany in the light of investors’ attitude and exchange about trends and insights to navigate this challenging landscape.
