As governments across Europe increasingly recognise the benefits of consensual pre insolvency turnaround ahead of value destructive insolvency EACTP is at the forefront of this development. EACTP gives turnaround practitioners a knowledgeable voice in the debate. It is a professional body promoting professional standards and disciplines. All professions need recognition of its members expertise and knowledge. EACTP does this for turnaround practitioners.
Based upon TMA Global’s worldwide CTP certification platform it adheres to an established and proven global standard of excellence in turnaround and restructuring practice. In conjunction with Leiden University it is providing an examination and education program for young professionals aspiring to work in turnaround. Importantly it recognises the importance of management change in addition to financial restructuring to guide distressed business through the challenging European jurisdictional minefield.
