Dr. Janina Schmidt-Keßler is an associate in the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice in Latham & Watkins’ Hamburg Office.

Janina represents clients in complex financial out-of-court restructurings and insolvency proceedings. She advises German and international creditors, investors, and companies on domestic and cross-border financial restructurings, including debt-equity swaps, share pledge enforcements, and insolvency plan proceedings as well as on distressed M&A. She is also well experienced in insolvency related litigation. Janina regularly organizes events for TMA NOW Germany.
