[Case Study] Cross Border Estate Loan and Collateral in Eastern European Countries.

This case study will focus onto the financing of the insolvency estate of a German wholesale group in the footwear sector with several companies located in Germany and several Eastern European Countries. It will show the steps to be taken by the insolvency administration to take up an asset-based estate loan and will especially discuss the possibilities and legal requirements and restrictions of loan securitization one might face in the different Eastern European jurisdictions.


[Panel] This analysis delves into the crucial elements that will influence the development of distressed and special situations scenarios in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region. It takes into consideration operational factors, energy costs, marketing advancements, financing options, and the impact of governmental regulations.
