Simon Baskerville is a partner in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is Global Co-Chair of the Restructuring and Special Situations Group.
Mr. Baskerville specialises in acting for financial investors on all aspects of their investments including distressed debt investing, restructurings, special situations lending, loan-to-own transactions, non-performing loan portfolio acquisitions, and M&A. Mr. Baskerville also has extensive experience of acting for all other stakeholders in stressed, distressed, and insolvency situations including private and listed companies, bondholder committees, and insolvency practitioners.
Mr. Baskerville was listed in the 40 Under 40 list of the world’s leading restructuring specialists in the Global Restructuring Review 2016.
Ben is a Director in the Turnaround and Restructuring Services team at AlixPartners with over 17 years’ experience advising corporate boards and financial stakeholders with respect to the implementation of holistic turnaround programmes. His work often involves liquidity management, financial and operational restructuring and diligence, stakeholder management and contingency planning. His experience includes complex cross-border restructuring mandates, working with stakeholders including major creditors, private-equity firms, and corporate boards. Ben has developed excellent negotiation and technical skills through a host of contentious and challenging international restructuring engagements in Europe, Australia, and Asia. He is a Chartered Accountant a fellow of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and a licensed insolvency practitioner.
Chief Economist, UniCredit Bank Austria
Studied economics at the J.K. University of Linz, and graduated with a Masters Degree. He participated in the project "labor market research" at the J. K. University of Linz and served as an assistant at the Institute of Economic Theory at the J.K. University of Linz before working as an economist in the economics department of “Zentralsparkasse” in Vienna. From 2001 he was deputy head of the economics department at Bank Austria, responsible for macro- and banking research Austria. Since 2009 he has been Chief Economist of UniCredit Bank Austria and head of Economics and Market Analysis Austria of UniCredit Bank Austria.
His specialty areas of expertise are the Austrian economy, financial markets, CEE and the EU, the euro and the banking market in Austria and Europe. Stefan Bruckbauer for many years lectured in economic theory at the University of Linz and the University of Vienna. Currently he runs courses for fund and portfolio managers held by the Association of Austrian Mutual Fund Companies (Vereinigung Österreichischer Investmentgesellschaften) and at the Banking Academy and gives talks on various issues. Stefan Bruckbauer has written numerous articles on Austria, CEE, labor market issues, interest rates, forex, economic issues, banking and the euro and he is an expert for the Austrian Fiscal Advisory Council.

Tom Campbell is a Partner in the European Restructuring and Special Situations Group at PJT Partners, based in London. Previously, Mr. Campbell worked for six years at Blackstone serving as a Senior Managing Director. Prior to Blackstone, Mr. Campbell was an Executive Director in the restructuring team at Goldman Sachs, based in London. Before that, Mr. Campbell worked for Rothschild in its Restructuring Groups in London, Paris and New York, having previously worked in project finance. Mr. Campbell's experience covers debtor and creditor advisory, distressed M&A, broader capital structure advisory and the arrangement of finance for stressed and distressed corporates. Mr. Campbell received an MA from Edinburgh University with First Class Honours and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, UK.

Nina has obtained more than 23 years of experience in international Corporate Finance and Corporate Banking by working for European banks in their international corporate finance and corporate banking divisions in Vienna and Prague. For the last years she has been responsible in immigon portfolioabbau ag (winding down company of Oesterreichische Volksbanken AG) for the restructuring and winding down of the corporate banking and corporate finance activities of former Investkredit Bank AG. She successfully sold loan assets and equity stakes (single assets as well as portfolios) to banks and private equity funds.
She is a graduate of Vienna University of Economics and Business in International Business Administration and holds a post-graduate degree (MBA & MSc) in Finance from University of British Columbia in Vancouver and Danube University in Krems.
Dr Lukas Fecker
Founder & CEO, Innovation Brain and VP International, TMA Global
Dr. Lukas Fecker specialises in Turnaround Management for global Financial Services and commodities clients with an emphasis on Restructuring and M&A. He has held several CRO, CEO and board positions in restructuring situations; responsible for strategy, delivery and investor reporting. His advisory career has spanned Accenture, Alvarez & Marsal and KPMG as a Partner in their UK Transactions and Restructuring practice, before leaving to start his own firm.
Among his achievements is the appointment by the European Commission to monitor the restructuring of the largest bank in a member country.
Lukas is a published author with a strong standing in the Restructuring and Recovery industry and is currently the Vice President International Relations, TMA Global.
Senior Partner for KPMG in Croatia and KPMG in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Since joining KPMG in Croatia in 1998, Goran has worked on projects that have spanned the areas of financial advisory, audit, M&A advisory, business strategy, financial and operational restructuring.
Goran’s industry experience includes financial services, retail, FMCG, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure, tourism, shipbuilding, transport, construction, chemicals and others.
In addition to Croatia, Goran has participated in numerous acquisitions, mergers, valuations, operational and financial restructuring projects as well as due diligence investigations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia and other countries in the CEE region.
Goran is currently leading the KPMG team in providing support in the restructuring of the Agrokor Group.

Burkhard Jung is managing director at Restrukturierungspartner, a managing consultancy which advises and accompanies companies in all restructuring-related issues. Jung has many years extensive experience in out-of-court restructuring, in restructuring in insolvency proceedings (regular, self-administration or protective shield proceedings) and in distressed M&A. He also often assumes operational responsibility in the company as chief restructuring officer (CRO). Jung is chairman of the board of the Association Restructuring and Insolvency Consulting of the Federal Association of German Management Consultants (BDU e.V.), Certified Restructuring Consultant CMC/BDU and founding member of the Association Forum 270 – quality and responsibility in self-administration. Orvin Lucjan Kacprzyk

Orvin Lucjan Kacprzyk, JD is a veteran Chicago attorney who reverse immigrated to Europe to participate in the transitions on the continent decades ago.
Currently he is the General Counsel of a technology and advisory company in Sweden – Ortelius AB – which invented a knowledge interaction platform for digital business transformation. In addition to legal topics, he is frequently engaged to speak about digital corporate development initiatives and their impact on valuation.
Orvin created a professional service firm (PSF) practice at his company to provide technological opportunities and competencies to a substantial, yet underserved market segment.

Bernhard is a partner in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice in Austria since 2005. Previously he was a partner at Management Zentrum St. Gallen in Switzerland and a Controller in Austrian and North American industrial corporates.
Bernhard specializes in financial & operational restructuring as well as distressed and non-distressed equity transactions. He has advised on numerous buy- and sell-side transactions with a total value of more than EUR 1 bn.
Bernhard worked on the restructuring of complex loan portfolios and corporate groups and has advised on the refinancing of several billion euros of debt (in Austria, Western and Eastern Europe). He works both with public and privately owned businesses. Bernhard is a founding member and member of the board of ReTurn. Teresa C. Kohl
Managing Director, SSG Capital Advisors
Teresa C. Kohl is a Managing Director for SSG Capital Advisors and is responsible for originating and leading investment banking transactions, as well as managing SSG’s litigation advisory practice. She has completed over 100 restructuring matters including refinancing and sale transactions for middle market companies in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts. Prior to her transition to investment banking, she led financial and operational restructuring engagements for boutique advisory firms.
Past clients include publicly traded, privately held, private equity sponsored and family owned companies in the healthcare, retail, manufacturing, building products and financial services industries. Teresa is a frequent speaker on financial and operational restructuring issues, bankruptcy, and special situation transactions.
She serves on the Board of Directors of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Teresa has served on the board and in leadership positions of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA Global) where she was the first woman to lead TMA’s largest global chapter (New York City) as President and co-founded TMA Global’s Network of Women. Sara Liesker (42) is the founder and managing director of two companies: the Liesker Group and Ceres Legal. Mirna Marovic, MBA

Ms. Marovic a highly skilled Economics, Finance, Investments & European Integration Specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in the Economics and Finance Industry. Her main area of expertise is in direct investment issues and incentives for Croatia and South East Europe. Considerable experience has been gained in understanding and implementing the Croatian Economic Policies and the EU integration issues having been an Assistant Minister in the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration during the time of Croatia’s integration into the European Union. Prior to her return to Croatia in 2004, she was based in London and held corporate and structured finance positions at major investment banks including Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole Indosuez. As an effective professional, she has also successfully led a company for the past 7 years, VentureXchange Ltd., as its Director/CEO. She has orchestrated the establishment of Turnaround Management Association Croatia (TMA Croatia) and the Croatian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (CVCA). Extraordinary Commissioner, Agrokor. Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Board of Directors, Fortenova Group
Fabris Peruško has served as the Extraordinary Commissioner for Agrokor d.d. since February 2018 when the Commercial Court in Zagreb appointed him following the proposal of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. During his work as the Extraordinary Commissioner, together with the team, the agreement among more than 5.700 Agrokor creditors was reached which resulted in the conclusion of the Settlement Plan with over 80% of total claims vote and within the statutory deadline in July 2018. The settlement of Agrokor creditors was selected by an expert jury of Vecernji list and Poslovni dnevnik as the most important business event in 2018 in Croatia. He is also in charge of the preparations for the Settlement implementation in all Agrokor Group companies. In parallel with these processes, he has focused on the restructuring of the Agrokor Group through increasing revenue, profitability and efficiency and taking advantage of synergies between core businesses. One of his major areas of focus is increasing the quality and transparency of corporate governance as well as improving the professional and ethical standards in Agrokor Group and all its companies.
Fabris has been actively involved in the restructuring process of the Agrokor Group since the beginning of the Extraordinary Administration procedure. Since May 2017, he served as Member of the Management Board in charge of finance and restructuring at Tisak – leading Croatian newsstand retailer. Prior to Tisak, Fabris served as Director of Operations of Moscow-based company Lamoda.ru, the Russian division of the London-based Global Fashion Group (GFG) where he changed the business model. Fabris also spent 5 years with global leading consultancy firm McKinsey&Co., where his work was focused on restructuring projects in various industries. Fabris started his career at the Slovenian IT firm Halcom, today part of the Toronto Stock Exchange listed Constellation Software Inc. At Halcom, he was responsible for the expansion of business to the CEE and Middle East markets.

As Managing Director, Federica Pietrogrande has both a business and legal role.
Federica is a member of the Investment & Finance team responsible for the development of Gordon Brothers’ special situations strategy across Europe, which utilises a highly flexible and opportunistic approach for alternative debt and equity investments, involving companies in distress or in need of capital solutions. Federica’s focus is on structuring the deal and is committed to the entire lifecycle of the investment from origination through exit.

Doc. JUDr. Tomáš Richter, LL.M., Ph.D. (* 1971), is Of Counsel in the Prague office of Clifford Chance LLP and an external lecturer at the Institute of Economic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, Prague. He qualified as a Czech advocate in 1998 and in addition to Prague has briefly practised in London and in Frankfurt. Between 2011 and 2014, he held a Chair in Cross-Border Corporate Insolvency Law at the Radboud University Nijmegen Law School. He is a member of the International Insolvency Institute and the Conference of European Restructuring and Insolvency Law. Ian is a qualified lawyer and has worked with several law firms although he gave up his practising certificate in 2017. He is currently a director with RSM Restructuring based its London office. His particular interest is in international cases of which he has considerable experience.
He was vice-president for international affairs of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) serving two terms together with a term as a director INSOL International.
Some of Ian's previous roles include:
- advising individual and institutional creditors in the Lehman Brothers administration;
- advising the security trustee in the restructuring of a German yacht builder;
- advising the liquidator of a Bermudan bank on an appeal to the Supreme Court;
- advising a New Zealand based liquidator on the disposal of a connected US business using proceedings under Chapter 15 of the US Federal Bankruptcy Code; and

Ian is chair of ABI’s international insolvency symposium (2005-to date). He is also a regular contributor at conferences in the US and is the author of numerous articles for the ABI Journal and R3's Recovery magazine.
